Quran Memorization Techniques

When learning to memorize the Quran, the first thing you should do is find a Quran teacher or enrol in online Quran classes. The reason for this is that we've noticed that memorising the Quran and reciting the Quran have become intertwined, and it's easy to mispronounce certain sounds and letters when you're learning to memorize the Quran because you're just concentrating on repeating what you're hearing. They will also provide you with suggestions to assist you to enhance your Quran memorizing.

The second benefit of having our online Quran tutor is that it will help you stay on track.

We've all attempted to memorize the Quran at some point in our lives but failed since we were doing it on our own and there was no one to keep us responsible. If you know you have an online Quran memorization class with Tajweed, for example, if your class is five o'clock Sunday afternoon or whatever, then you know you have to show up and learn the Quran at that time, so when you know you have an online Quran memorization class with Tajweed, for example, if your class is five o'clock Sunday afternoon or whatever, then you know you have to show up and learn the Quran at that time. As a result, it aids in your accountability. It also helps you stay on pace with your Quran memorizing.

In certain instances, we also offer you the option to have other individuals (Quran students) who will assist you in the classroom so that you may do it together outside of class time so that you don't feel so alone on your path. So you may enroll in a Quran class, which should be quite beneficial inshallah.

How to Memorize your New Lessons/Homework:

When it comes to memorizing the Quran, it's all about repetition, repetition, repetition. According to psychology, the only method to solidify a memory is to:

Number one is repeating it, and number two is solidifying it via Association.

So, to summarise, the repetition technique is as follows: you start with your first ayah/verse and repeat it 10 to 30 times, if not more; some people suggest repeating it more than that. So, let's say you repeat the first ayah of Surah Fatiha 10 to 30 times until you feel like you've got it down, then you move on to the second ayah of the Quran and say it another 10 to 30 times, then you go back to the first ayah/verse and recite it once, then you go back to your second ayah/verse and recite it once, and then you move on to your third Ayah/verse and recite it

The second part of consolidating information is through association, which helps you memorize Quran online. Now, if you understand what you're saying, it's a lot easier for you to learn and memorize Quran with tajweed, because obviously, you'll get a storyline as you're building up, so take Sarah Yusuf for example, you start reading surah Yusuf and then you're reading about the part where Prophet Yusuf was killed.
